Videos for our Epals in Texas - How We Play!

The class brainstormed, storyboarded, filmed and edited these videos using the iMovie app on the ipads.  While we prefer the mac version for it's extra features and editing tools, the ipad version is quick to use and the video footage is easily accessible.

As we having been emailing our Epals in Texas, we thought we'd show them our playground and some of the games that we play.

Making our own Hacky Sacks

Last week our student teachers Miss Smith and Miss Singh helped us to make our own Hacky Sacks using just balloons and rice.  You would think that we would make a big mess, as we sometimes do, but the plastic bottles acted as a funnel - so not much mess made at all!

Watch this space for some examples of our instructional writing.  You'll be able to follow our carefully written instructions word for word, and make your own Hacky Sacks to perfection - well that's the plan!
